	Establishing 24 new Australian Technical Colleges throughout Australia, including one vocational college the Gold Coast
	Investing $1 billion to upgrade classrooms, school grounds and computer facilities in public schools and less well off Independent schools
	Commencing at least 20 major environmental projects while balancing economic responsibility with practical environmental responsibility
	Helping Small Business grow by cutting tax, reducing costs and freeing up the industrial relations system
	Protecting Australia by putting 14 new patrol boats into service in our northern waters
	Establishing 6 specialist counter terrorist teams to fight terrorism at its source
	Introducing a 30% rebate for out of pocket child care fees for families and increasing Family Tax Benefits for families with one main income
	Increasing the Private Health Insurance Rebate from 30% to 35% for people aged 65 to 69 and to 40% for those over 70 years from April 2005
	Increasing the rebate for all GP services to 100 percent of the Medicare Schedule Fee
	Upgrading our road and rail systems through the $1.9 billion “Auslink” program
	Ensuring national testing and standards in numeracy, literacy, civics and citizenship
	Increasing nursing home / hostel care places in our local area
