If the Government has already decided the break up of the tax revenue from the carbon tax (46% to industry and 54% to households), then why are they hiding it from industry?

Today at Senate Estimates, Industry Minister Kim Carr said, “we will see something in the range of 46% of compensation for industry under a carbon tax”.

What else has been decided without consultation?

How will the 46% compensation be split up? How much will manufacturers get? How much will the electricity generators get? What will be the division?

“Senator Carr has spilled the beans on the carbon tax compensation. He has let slip that industry will only receive 46% of the revenue from the tax as compensation.
